Sutekh Headdress Masquerade Mask

Sutekh Headdress

A large head dress based on the ancient Egyptian god Sutekh. The god was usually depicted with the head of an ant-eater with over large horns that were wider at the top than the base. This fully carved and moulded leather head piece is designed to be worn on the head so that the wearer looks out from beneath Sutekh's face. The eyes were left open so that led lights could be added. Private commission, please contact me if you are interested in a similar piece.
